1959 Austin-Healey ‘Frogeye’ Sprite Supercharged

This beautiful little Frogeye has been fully restored by the owner of a very well respected Bentley/Rolls-Royce restoration company. A very small number of the Sprite Mk I were supercharged in period with a number being converted later in their lives. This is an example of a latterly converted Sprite but it has been done using a period correct Shorrock supercharger and fastidious attention to detail. The owner described the engine as being “a little naughty” when he rebuilt it without the supercharger but now, as a blown unit, this little car is an absolute hoot/maniac.

There is a large history file with the car documenting the restoration and invoices that tally up to nearly £20,000 GBP!
