There are various Caterham Sevens come in a wide variety of guises, ranging from ‘grin inducing’ to ‘screaming for Mummy’. The Caterham Seven 420R for sale with Wrightson Automotive probably sits around the “Fu*k me, this is quick” mark on that scale.

When ordered in February 2017 the box ticking by the one and only owner was prolific and the total cost of the options was over 50% of the base price. The main options selected were (deep breath):

Since delivery of the car in April 2017 it has covered a smidge under 9,500 miles and went back to Caterham every single year without fail until the last service in 2024 when it went to GP Sevens in Sevenoaks, who are very well respected specialists and much more local to the owner.

With the car is the hood and hood frame, original handbook/service book, 2 set of keys and a detailed history file with every shred of paperwork going back to ordering the car and the original invoice.

Sadly the owner has passed away and the car is being sold on behalf of his son. As a result the decision was made to price the car very competitively so as to expedite what is no doubt a painful process. Please bear this in mind when enquiring, thank you.
